About open eXpressions

open eXpressions is a free, open source WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. It is designed to make web editing easy. open eXpressions is licensed under the GPL. You are free to rewrite the program and use it any way you please. Our program is frequently updated. Currently we are in the Alpha stage. This project is inspired by BrandonSoft's HTML-IDEx. We have improved upon the interface by adding the familiar Office 2007 ribbon UI. We are trying to make the project compatible with HTML 5 and CSS 3. If you are a talented Visual Basic programmer, we'd be glad to have you! If you are good at converting C# to VB, that would be much appreciated. From my research, open eXpressions appears to be the best free web editor available. We have plans for future development that will make the program more powerful, and worth more to a web designer.
